VibeShift™ ("VibeShift," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by VibeShift LLC. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the VibeShift mobile application (the "App").
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access the App.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
When you create an account, subscribe to VibeShift, or use features within the App, we may collect:
- Account information: name, email address, and password
- Profile information: display name and optional profile photo
- Journal entries: text content you enter in the journaling feature
- Community content (V3.0+ launches only): posts, comments, and reactions you submit to community features. Community is not part of the initial V1.0 launch — this category will not collect data until V3.0 community features ship.
- Communication: messages or feedback you send to us directly
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you use the App, we automatically collect:
- Usage data: features accessed, sessions started, content viewed, and time spent in-app
- Device information: device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information
- Log data: IP address, access times, app crashes, and performance data
- Session data: session duration, completion rates, and program progress (e.g., EMF phase progress, streak count)
2.3 Information from Third Parties
We may receive information from third-party services you connect to the App, including:
- Apple or Google: authentication data when you use Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In
- Payment processors: subscription status and transaction confirmation (we do not store full payment card details — these are handled by Apple App Store and Google Play)
- Analytics providers: aggregated usage insights
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account
- Process and manage your subscription, including free trial periods
- Provide, personalize, and improve the App and its features
- Track your program progress (EMF phases, streaks, session history)
- Store and display your journal entries (community content storage applies in V3.0+ launches only)
- Send you service-related notifications (e.g., subscription renewal reminders)
- Respond to your support requests and inquiries
- Monitor and analyze usage trends to improve the user experience
- Detect, prevent, and address technical issues or fraudulent activity
- Comply with legal obligations
4. Journal Data & Privacy
We understand that journal entries may contain highly personal and sensitive content. We treat your journal data with the highest level of care:
- Journal entries are stored in our secure database and are encrypted at rest
- Your journal entries are private and are not visible to other users
- We do not use the content of your journal entries to train AI models or for advertising purposes
- You may delete individual journal entries or your entire account at any time
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
5.1 Service Providers
We share information with trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating the App, including:
- Cloud hosting, database, and authentication services (Supabase) for storing your account, profile, journal entries, and session progress data securely
- Payment processing (Stripe) for Founding Member tier pre-sales and any direct-to-VibeShift transactions; Stripe handles all card data and does not share full payment card information with VibeShift
- AI services (Anthropic / Claude API for the Clarissa AI coaching persona; ElevenLabs for AI voice synthesis) — user session context (program state, screen) is sent to generate Clarissa's responses and voice; journal content is not sent to these services
- Analytics providers (e.g., Mixpanel, PostHog) for aggregated usage insights — these receive de-identified data
- Subscription management (RevenueCat) for processing in-app purchases and managing entitlements
- Crash reporting tools (e.g., Sentry) for identifying and fixing app stability issues
These providers are contractually obligated to use your data only as necessary to provide their services and to maintain appropriate security measures.
5.2 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal requests by public authorities (e.g., a court order or government agency).
5.3 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via in-app notice or email of any such change in ownership.
5.4 With Your Consent
We may share your information with third parties when you give us explicit consent to do so.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the App's services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain certain information for a longer period.
Session logs and usage analytics may be retained in aggregated, anonymized form after account deletion.
7. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction: request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Deletion: request that we delete your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
- Portability: request that we provide your data in a portable format
- Opt-out of marketing: unsubscribe from promotional communications at any time

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete your personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information. 8. Minimum Age & Children's Privacy
VibeShift™ is intended for adults only. You must be at least 18 years of age to use this App. The App is not directed to anyone under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a user under 18, we will delete that information promptly. If you believe we may have collected information from a minor, please contact us immediately.
9. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including:
- Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL)
- Encryption of sensitive data at rest (including journal entries)
- Access controls limiting who within our organization can access your data
- Regular security reviews and monitoring
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Third-Party Links & Services
The App may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not operated by us. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of every site you visit.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the App and updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this document. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Your continued use of the App after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
